My technician, Dave arrived on time and was friendly and professional even after sweating in the heat to find out that he had the wrong part. Fiat requires factory windshield when the car has heated wipers (who knew). The office admin contacted me to suggest that I run the claim through insurance. Nationwide is great. They connected me directly to Safelite on a conference call. We got the correct part, schedule and it all cost $50 deductible for a $750 windshield. Oh, and Dave came back to complete the job. Yay Dave. Yay Safelite. Yay Nationwide.
I went to safeties to get my rear view mirror put back on. In less than 10 minutes I had it back and there was no charge. Awesome!
I thought they were prompt and courteous, yet the price was "High", compared to what other companies were charging. (aproxx- $100 more) It didn't take long about 45 minutes. I think the glass used wasn't equivalent to what I had, my windshield now fogs up all the time. Overall I think I should have recieved a better grade of glass and as a result I'm constantly blasting heat on it to keep it clear so i can see. I am disappointed and will not use there service again..
