A LOT of options to choose from. My husband and I each got specials which included bread-cornbread was really good, soup-broccoli and chicken both really good, salad, entrees and dessert, price was very reasonable. Food was delicious!!!!!! My husband had parmasean shrimp spaghetti, I had the scud. I didn't prefer the taste of the scud, but I feel 100% confident in that it was my personal taste only, quality was great. Loved the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Tons of delicious looking dessert/ breakfast dessert options. Tried banana cream pie, way too bitter for me (my husband checked and he agreed)- they switched it for strawberry chocolate cake with cheesecake which was delicious.Husband had carrot cake which was really good too. Server was new, but she was fantastic and welcoming!!! Only suggestion for me would be maybe changing side salad (which was very fresh) but again this is just personal taste. It had greens, tomatoes, shredded carrots, purple onion and cucumber. I don't care for purple onion or cucumber. I don't mind carrots as much as long as I have other options. But that was something very small!!! Very fantastic meal, one of the best we have had in Jersey!!!
Nice friendly service. Quick to get meal and was delicious. Traveler making a quick stop leaving satisfied. The coffee/tea cups are rather small but all in all a recommended meal stop.
Friendly service and good food. I had the eggwhite omelette with coffee. So Good!
The food is pretty good and the service is friendly. Only real issue was, there was about 4 tables in the whole place and it legitimately took an hour and a half to get the food
I love diners, and the Phoenix is one of my favorite. We stopped in on Labor Day and had another great meal. Our server, Gage, was outstanding and gave us a chance to enjoy our soup and salad before bringing the main course. The food was especially good, and there was so much, we could barely finish it. If you are looking for a good meal with excellent service, you won't be disappointed at the Phoenix!
