Capt. Dave and his staff have always been cordial, helpful and trusting to myself and the clients I've referred to buy tackle at his shop. I've enjoyed the relationships I've made with Dave and many of his employees over the years. He carries perhaps the best live bait supply in the state of NJ and certainly the southern region to my knowledge.

Great! Always get eels from there and I always get the smallest ones every time. They won't give up just to get me the smallest ones that they have even if there are hundreds or thousands. Which unlike most bait shops, they truly care about their customers and don't stop until they are satisfied. One of the best bait shops I know!
Excellent hidden gem of a bait and tackle shop. Fully stocked with fair prices and that old fashioned mom and pop shop service. The owner is extremely helpful and ready to give out advice to put you on the fish. They also offer back bay charter fishing. Live bait is always available and they have an active Facebook community.
