I have a mixed rating here. With the same cat we had two different outcomes. the first time we brought her in for an eye issue, the Doctor on duty looked her nasty eye over and prescribed eye drops (ever try to give eye drops to a cat?) a few days later when her eye was looking worse, we had to put her down. This Doctor was extremely sympathetic and seemed almost hurt to have to put our kitty down. I wish we had gotten him the first time
Took my Maltese there for a cough...The vet was awesome...I Was told it was a heart murmur and they wanted her to see their cardiologist ...Sounded fine to me and was told $400 and an EXTRA Fee if I wanted to speak to the Cardiologist....WHAT!!!! YES EXTRA FEE..Money is not an issue with me but Arrogance is ....How dare you tell me there an extra Fee to speak to you about my baby..Did you finish #1 in your class at Duke? I would like to know if you really that Good???....Im will NEVER set foot on their property again...i have made arrangements to go to another place...Although i live 2 minutes from them Ill drive the hour away...Take the Time to look at other Reviews...You may not want to go there...
Very caring people have been going there for quite a few years
A trusted group of vets I have used for 10 years. Recommend them highly. Particularly, Dr. Grossman is the most experienced surgeon.
As far as the staff, I would give 5 stars. My cat had a tooth extraction and he was very well taken care of. All of my questions were answered and Dr. Mitchell and Lindsey were lovely to work with. However, we had our post op follow up with Dr. Grossman who I felt was not helpful at all. We just adopted a puppy and my cat was showing some concerning symptoms. All that was offered to me was Prozac and to crate my cat because he felt I should "desensitize" him. In addition, he didn't show much compassion for my cat at all being he picked up his carrier and dumped him onto the exam table rather than opening the carrier more to take him out. He also proceeeded to tell me horror stories about his cat and told me I should go around my house with a black light because I would likely be horrified at what I saw. Furthermore, he didn't follow up on any additional post op questions we had and wished me luck before walking out of the room. I'm extremely disappointed with our last visit.
